College in High School
College in the High School at Rocky Grove Junior/Senior High School
In partnership with the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford, Rocky Grove Junior/Senior High School proudly offers the College in the High School program. This unique opportunity allows our students to earn college credit while still in high school—giving them a head start on their college journey.
Through this program, students experience college-level coursework in a familiar classroom setting, led by our highly qualified high school teachers. Each instructor holds a master’s degree or master’s equivalency and is certified as an adjunct faculty member by Pitt-Bradford. These teachers work closely with university faculty liaisons to ensure that instruction, assignments, and assessments meet rigorous college standards.
Grades are awarded based on a combination of assignments, quizzes, tests, and a final exam provided by the university. With over 1,000 students participating across the region each year, this program gives Rocky Grove students an incredible opportunity to challenge themselves academically and prepare for success in higher education.
