VGSD Student Enrollment

Valley Grove School District is currently registering students for the 2026-2027 school year across all grades.
Registration packets can be accessed by clicking HERE. Completed packets, along with required documentation, should be submitted to the district administrative office at Valley Grove Elementary School, 389 Sugarcreek Drive, Franklin, PA 16323. Office hours are from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Offices are closed on Fridays during the summer months.
The following information is required in order to enroll the student in school:
- *Proof of the child’s age
- Immunizations required by law
- **Proof of residency
- Parent registration statement
- Home Language Survey
*Any one of the following constitutes acceptable documentation: birth certificate; notarized copy of birth certificate; baptismal certificate; copy of the record of baptism – notarized or duly certified and showing the date of birth; notarized statement from the parents or another relative indicating the date of birth; a valid passport; a prior school record indicating the date of birth
**Any one of the following constitutes acceptable documentation: a current deed; a mortgage statement no more than three months old; an active residential lease agreement; a utility bill no more than three months old; an internet bill no more than three months old; a credit card bill no more than three months old; a bank statement no more than three months old; a tax bill no more than three months old; an insurance document no more than three months old; or a piece of mail sent in the past three months by the federal or state government such as benefits information, voter registration, or tax documents.
Kindergarten Registration Information
Children eligible for Kindergarten must turn five (5) years old before August 1st of the current year.
Other Information
Bus assignments are determined by home address. Any changes to transportation for new or returning students must be coordinated through the Transportation Department with Teresa Perry. She can be reached at 814-437-3759 x 1902 or via email at transportation@vgsd.org.
